Koko Analytics on The WP Minute podcast

Posted on by Danny van Kooten.

A couple of weeks ago I was invited on The WP Minute, a community for WordPress professionals that also has a podcast series, to talk about my journey into WordPress plugin development and Koko Analytics.

You can find the episode and show notes here: Taking a Simple Approach to Analytics – The WP Minute

In the episode, host Eric Karkovack and I chat about a bunch of things including but not limited to:

  • How Danny got into WordPress plugins (spoiler alert: from a hospital bed in Vietnam while suffering from acute appendicitis)
  • Why Koko Analytics focuses on privacy, simplicity and performance.
  • Why Koko Analytics was built for WordPress specifically.
  • How user feedback drives product development for Koko Analytics.
  • Why you’ll always be talking to an actual human if you decide to contact us over email.
  • Whether AI will creep into Koko Analytics (answer: no, especially not using a third-party model).

As you can probably tell, English is not my native language and I am better with code than I am with words, but I hope you enjoy the episode nonetheless.
